Bursting at the Seams with Joy!!!

OMG!!!! This is one of my most favorite pair of Jeans. They are Paris Hilton Jeans that I bought at this little boutique at my work, they were originally $130 but thank god I bought them on sale and only paid $30. I am a very petite person I were a size 1 or 0 usually ( I come from a long line of miniature people). This week I will be 10 weeks prego and unlike my first child with this pregnancy I have been extremely sick so I have not gained any weight yet although I am pooching out a bit.
This morning I was getting ready for work and I decided that I would wear my beloved Paris Hilton Jeans one last time before they were packed away for a long time. These Jeans have always been a little tight so when I put them on I have to do the stretch squat to make them more comfortable. Well that is exactly what I did this morning except this time when I went to squat I heard RIIIPPPP!!. I took them off and saw that I had ripped a 12 inch seam in the ass. I am totally blaming this on the jeans of coarse Paris Hiltons Skinny ass has never been pregnant so her jean were not made to be durable. I did feel much better when I put on my size 0 Abercrombies and the fit like a glove(not a tight glove).

I am Still Here!!

I am still here! Thank you for the many concerns. Knowing I am missed just might motivate me back in action. I have been feeling OK the Zofram really helps but I am still so tired and feel as though I am being sucked dry (must be a girl). I have been trying to take it easy, laying on the couch watching tons of Elmo. I still have not been to CVS, it has been almost 3 weeks WOW! We eat out allot I cant even think about preparing food and the smell NOT GOOD! Hopefully only a few more weeks of this and then I will be in my second Tri YEA!!!! Thanks again to all of you for sending your sweet comments of concern:)

My Miracle Drug!!!

So as you might of guessed I recently had my first prenatal visit. I was so excited about this visit not only because I was going to see my sweet little bean for the first time but it was my opportunity to plead for some sort a relief from this horrible nausea. With my son I had very little sickness and if I complained (which I am sure I did) I take it all back. With this pregnancy I am positive I must be having a girl, I have heard girls are more trouble and I am convinced that starts in the womb. So far Sick would be an understatement with this pregnancy. I thank god I am saved because I am sure this must be what Hell is like. I am talking non-funtioning people I have not been able to eat, drink and keeping the prenatal vitamins down. I weighed in yesterday at the Docs office 2Lbs under my regular weight, normally this would make me do a back flip but under the current circumstances this is not a good thing.
But wait there is a light at the end of this dark tunnel (besides a beautiful baby) a wonder drug called Zofram! Let me first just say I hate taking medicine not even Tylenol but after this past couple of weeks I am desperate. Zofram is given to Cancer patients to help with nausea. IT WORKS!!!! Today I was able to eat anything I wanted including some yummy candy one of my sweet clients brought me. I even came home cleaned my kitchen and moped the floor YAY! Now one of the side effects is drowsiness so of course with my profession and a 21 month old this made me a little stand offish, but I think since I have ADD it had the opposite effect on me, I even think tomorrow I will make a CVS run. Yea for modern medicine!!!!!
****UPDATED****
Yesterday I took Zofram in the morning felt great all day :) Then around 6:00 p.m. I took another one because I started to feel kinda crummy again. The side effect is supposed to be drowsiness UHH NO!!! I decided I would try and get to bed early around 9:30. I think I might have dosed off once but woke up with that wonderful urge to pee. So in short it is now 2:30 a.m. and I am wide awake. I will no longer take this medicine in the evenings :(

Thrifty Thursdays

A couple of weeks back was my beautiful nieces 3rd birthday. Instead of running to Toys"r"us to buy her a gift I decided I would make her present this year. I went to Target and purchased a pair of leggings and a long sleeve shirt for $9. I have tons of fabric that is just sitting on my craft shelf so I didn't need to purchase any:) I cranked up the sewing machine and this was my result.....

I was so pleased with the way it turned out, lets just hope it holds up!

The Best Toddler Shoe Ever!!!

I just thought I would share with you how awesome Vans shoes are for kids. I personally have never owned a pair of Vans for myself but my son is on his second pair. He didn't wear out the first pair he grew out of them. My Poopoo is a rough, Tricycle toe dragging, sandboxing, puddle jumping boy. He is extremely hard on his shoes. The pair we had before we bought his first Vans he destroyed before he grew out of them. What I love about Vans besides the fact that they are extremely durable the ones with the velcro are super easy to get on and off, they are great for a wider foot and they wash well. The cost is reasonable at about $25 a pair, visit Vans.com and check out all the fun colors and patterns.
Here are Poopoos old Vans, they can totally be used for the next baby!
