Its my 2 month Aniversary

Wow I have been Blogging for 2 months now, time sure goes by Quick! In honor of my two month anniversary I thought I would share a little bit about myself and how I started blogging.

I am in my late 20's, married and a mother of one. I grew up and currently live in Texas. I don't think I could ever live anywhere else I love big hair, goddy turquoise jewelry and yummy fried southern comfort food. I am a girly girl, I love to decorate & sew, I am learning to be a good cook and I am really creative. My husband is the most incredible man in the world, I love him so much. My beautiful son who I will call Poopoo is my reason for living I never knew it was possible to love someone so much until I met him. Being a mother and a wife is the most rewarding job I have ever had! I am also a hairstylist, I find great joy in making other people feel and look beautiful. I work for myself part time, it is important to me that my son spends the majority of his time at home so I can make him the biggest mommas boy ever. I have a really great balance in my life and I feel really blessed for that.

A little over two month ago I had never even looked at a blog before. My husband who is more addicted to the Internet then I am (if you can believe that) came across a blog called Keeping the Kingdom First. He was so amazed by all the money she had saved by using coupons he decided to email me a link to the blog. I know you are wondering how my husband came across a frugal mom blog, let me explain! My incredibly sexy hubby is really into Juijitzu a form of martial arts, he was on the Internet checking out different Juijitzu websites and blog. He came across this one Juijitzu blog that had some pretty interesting tips. My husband who claims not to be noisy was reading different comments left on this blog and saw a comment left by Alyssa@ Kingdom First, who by the way was the bloggers wife. He proceeded to check out her blog and the rest was part of God great plan. Alyssa's blog immediately grab my interest. I would check her blog several times a day to see what great deals she had posted. I had never been a coupon clipper but reading Alyssa blog soon changed that. I started clipping coupons and matching them to different sale ads I found a whole network of bloggers who also had great coupon tips. My first CVS trip was almost comical I didn't save any money and I still didn't quit understand how ECBs worked. It didn't take long for me to master the system. I enjoy coupon shopping so much I thought I should start a blog and share the great deals I had found. If I could inspire someone else the way Alyssa inspired me that would be awesome! Little did I know when I started my blog I would make so many bloggy friends. I enjoy looking at all kinds of blogs not just Frugal ones. Blogging has defiantly change my life and I plan to continue it for as long as I can.

Thanks for reading!!
