My Search for Cheap Bedding!

I have been on the search for a new bedding set for awhile now. Since I have turned frugal this task has been even harder. I am super picky on what goes in my house! The bedding we currently have I love! It is a Ralph Lauren bedding set w/Duvet that I payed $800 for seven years ago. Two years ago for a wedding gift we received a $300 Ralph Lauren Down Comforter to insert into the duvet. It is horrible!!!! This very expensive down comforter puts of so much dust that everything in our bedroom is covered with a thick layer of dust. I dust all the time but it doesn't matter because as soon as you even touch the bed dust flies everywhere. My biggest dilemma has been if I should totally replace the Bedding set or just buy a new comforter insert. My Duvet has gotten kinda worn if you could imagine after 7 years and I have to pin it closed with safety pens (this drives my husband crazy). I can sew so I could easy fix that problem. I am also kinda tired of having a duvet appose to a regular comforter. Today I was again on what seem to be a endless search for a new cheap bedding set when I came across this set at Kohls.com...

My style of decorating is very French country, I love lots of patterns and Warm tones. When I saw this bedding set I really liked it, then when I looked at the price I knew it was a winner! "How much?" you ask. I got the entire set which includes 2 Shams, a bed skirt, and comforter for only $17.60!!!!! I also figured If I get it and don't like it I will just use the comforter as a Duvet insert and keep the old bedding set, so it is a win win!!!!!
